If you’re only concerned about picture quality, it’s pretty close and you can probably pass on IMAX 70mm. Saw Oppenheimer at palladium IMAX on Monday evening. Cinemark 17 & IMAX – Dallas, TX. I thought it was only the Riverwalk theater and that other theater in Dallas that had the capabilities to show Oppenheimer in 70MM. If you don’t mind paying the higher price, watching Oppenheimer in 70mm IMAX is likely going to be worth it.
